THE BIGGER PICTURE
The 2024 Super Bowl will feature the best in the West, the 49ers, against the East's finest, Kansas City. For the Chiefs, it is their sixth-ever appearance in the NFL's Championship game, and their fourth appearance in the past five years. They won the 2020 and 2023 championships, while the 49ers are looking for revenge from their 2020 loss in the final to the Chiefs. They have not won a Super Bowl trophy since 1995.
